4月より、新しいAETとしてアイリーン先生が 日新高校にきてくださいました
My name is Aileen Vickory. I’m American and from Los Angeles, California. I am the newest Assistant English Teacher (AET) at Nisshin High School.
I graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2007 with a bachelor’s in English Education and also in 2016 with a master’s in Counseling for college and university students. I also have a Teaching as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certificate. Before working at Nisshin High School, I worked at California State University, Fullerton for 7 years as a study abroad advisor, where I helped many university students study abroad in countries like Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, and so on. Before that, I was an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) in Kawai-cho in Nara prefecture for 5 years from 2007-2012, where I primarily taught junior high school.
I am very excited to be an AET in Higashiosaka City and Nisshin High School. I look forward to working with the teachers and students at Nisshin High School. I am impressed with everyone’s hard work and dedication. I live in Japan with my husband, Paul, and our 5-year-old son, Jack. Jack recently started school at Ishikiri Kindergarten. My family and I look forward to becoming part of the community at Nisshin High School and Higashiosaka City.
